RWB maintain stranglehold

RWB have been crowned CI Club Championship winners for the 10th consecutive year.
They defeated Quackers in an all-Jersey final at Footes Lane on Saturday at the culmination of a frantic day of hockey comprising eight teams, including five from Guernsey.
The initial stage of the tournament saw the teams competing in two pools of four with the top two in each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
RWB and Quackers both came through pool A while Sarnian outfits Puffins and Indies Ladies entered the knockout stages from pool B.
