GUERNSEY FC chairman Steve Dewsnip has promised that racial abuse at games will not be tolerated.
With racism in football currently in the public eye, one local supporter has claimed that she heard racial chants during a recent Green Lions match at Footes Lane.
The spectator, who did not want to be named, was watching the game against Ash United on Saturday 5 November and says that racial abuse was aimed by a group of fans in the Garenne Stand towards referee Dele Sotimirin, who is black.
Dewsnip said that the club was unaware of the alleged incident, but said that, if anything was proved, GFC would deal with the culprits.
