OPEN air boxing is set to return to the Track next summer after the success of its debut outing in 2010.
More than 2,000 people watched the 15-bout evening at the football ground in July last year, with the popularity and profitability persuading Bels and the Amalgamated Boys’ Club to agree to a repeat in 2012.
Although an exact date is yet to be confirmed, it will be some time in June, with Amalgamated coach Graham Guilbert confident of another successful night of action.
‘Hopefully there will be even more people watching it than last time,’ he said.
