A WET and muddy scene greeted the riders for the Guernsey Motorcycle and Car Club’s fifth outing of the season.
With very slippery conditions, the competitors would have to dig deep in order to maintain focus over the three laps of 12 sections.
The start of junior/pre-65s morning trial was surprisingly grippy considering the rain, but following two light showers halfway through the trial, the sections changed considerably and caught out the riders who had made the sections look easy earlier on.
The juniors saw Sammy Bott continue his winning streak, taking the expert class once again and the intermediates class was again won by James Rihoy, who was clearly having fun on the muddy tracks. Mark Corlett’s BSA took the spoils in the pre-65s, while Tom Scott won the seniors expert class.
