VALE REC and Rovers will both be looking to end 2011 in style tomorrow as the first all-Priaulx clash of this year’s Guernsey FA Cup takes place at the Corbet Field.

The New Year’s Eve first-round encounter kicks off at 2pm, with a home quarter-final against Bels the winners’ reward.

Rovers coach Mac Gallienne is confident his side can book that last-eight spot. ‘There is no reason at all why we can’t beat Vale Rec, although I am sure they are thinking exactly the same thing,’ he said.

‘It will be good to get a game under our belts again and I know that all the boys are right up for it.
