CHRIS SCHOFIELD yesterday rejected claims made by Tony Vance that he and the GFA do not support the Green Lions and the new club’s ambitions.
At the same time he has reiterated that the GFA were right to introduce a new ruling that could lead to top players becoming suspended from island duty.
In a statement from the GFA he says that the board ‘remains committed to the success of Guernsey FC.
‘The GFA board hopes that Guernsey FC wins the Combined Counties League Division One and continues to enjoy success in UK competition.’
