CHOUET welcomed a year of banger racing where most winter championship leaders consolidated their positions.

But there were exceptions.

Ozzy Ozanne, Callum Queripel and Shaun Bichard all made it into the race of firsts and finished in that order in the race. They retain the top three in the main championship.

The changes happened in the women’s standings with first-time winner Lucy Smale moving closer to the two frontrunners.

In the first event of 2012 Marilyn Robilliard had engine problems and, as a result, drops to second in the points, behind Linda Jones who came second.
