ROSS KNELLER and Natalie Dodd took the top titles in the Ogier Senior Island Closed Squash Championships at the weekend.
After some gutsy performances from both their final opponents, David Caine and Katherine Jensen respectively, the two Island Games players managed to dominate their matches, dropping just one game each.
In the men’s A event, the South African Caine had experienced two long five setters before reaching the final which had clearly taken its toll on his fitness.
In the final Kneller was the fresher of the two and showed determination and athleticism to ensure that he ran Caine around the court wearing him out even further and causing him to make more errors.
