Egham Town 2, Guernsey FC 5 (aet)
Wednesday 1st February 2012, 12:56AM GMT.
GUERNSEY FC knocked Egham Town out of the CCL Premier Challenge Cup last night after winning a pulsating encounter 5-2 that went to extra-time.
Ross Allen gave GFC the early lead in an open and entertaining game, only to see a brace by Egham’s Brendan Matthew turn the match around, before Ryan-Zico Black levelled it, taking the match beyond 90 minutes.
And despite having Black sent off late on, GFC had already sealed victory thanks to further strikes from Sam Cochrane, Allen and Glyn Dyer.
