Track is a ‘NO’ go

GUERNSEY FC will continue to call Footes Lane home as they progress though the English league pyramid.

The Green Lions’ chairman Steve Dewsnip has confirmed that his club have no intentions of moving to the Track in the foreseeable future, despite increasing rumours to the contrary.

If GFC are promoted from the Combined Counties League Premier Division next season to a step four league, then some alterations would need to be made to Footes Lane.

However, Dewsnip insists that any obstacles can be overcome and has rubbished those suggestions that the community club are looking to move to Bels’ home ground.
