GUERNSEY’S Island Games gold medal-winning women’s cycling team have added another prestigious title to their list.

The trio of Karina Bowie, Ann Bowditch and Sam Herridge again joined forces to win the women’s section of the RTTC National Team Time Trialing Championships held near Basingstoke.

The team race was held over an undulating course of 35 miles, with all three members working as a team to get the fastest time possible.

The course was held over two laps containing country roads and a seven-mile section of the A33 dual carriageway.
