PAUL JACKSON stunned the field in an eight-hour cycling time trial at Brands Hatch, winning the event by a considerable margin and beating the course record in the process.
The event was run on the 2.3-mile Grand Prix circuit in Kent and featured 300 riders in four classes over eight and 12 hours.
The idea of the event is to see who can ride the furthest distance in the time allowed.
Jackson, 46, took part in the eight-hour solo event and covered a distance of 166 miles, recording an average speed of over 20 miles per hour.
