Thurrock backs best in the league

ONE of the toughest trips of the season awaits Guernsey today.
They visit Thurrock, one of the more ambitious clubs in National Three London & South-East, and Jordan Reynolds expects to come up against a side with quality across the park.
‘They want to be as high as they possibly can in the leagues and they have recruited well,’ said the Guernsey coach.
‘They have brought in an England under-20 second row recently and they have got the Stanley brothers in the centres who are seen as the best centres in the competition.
‘Thurrock have openly boasted that they have the best backline in the league and, obviously, they are going to be a very good side.’
