IT TAKES something special for Guernsey coach Jordan Reynolds to lavish praise on his players and on Saturday it materialised.
‘It was easily the best performance in my reign as coach,’ he said of this win at Thurrock.
‘No team in this league could contend with us playing like that. It is just a matter of finding consistency.’
From the start of their debut National Three London & South-East campaign, Guernsey had this trip earmarked as one of the hardest they would face this season.
Thurrock are a very ambitious club who have invested heavily in their team as they attempt to climb through the leagues, but they were no match for the green-and-whites on this occasion.
