THE knockout break did nothing to stop La Villette Hotel Gremlin’s relentless march at the top of the Image Group Premier Division.

The leaders rattled off the first eight frames in an 11-1 win against Ex-Service Rat Pack, with Martyn Desperques, pictured, in sparkling form.

The island champion won his opening frame with breaks of 71 and a 40-plus before taking the next with a 56 clearance after earlier posting a 39.

Dave Bullock managed to get a bit closer in the third, but another 39 sealed it for Desperques.
