Elizabeth College 0, Grammar 1
GRAMMAR look set to finish as the best Guernsey school in this year’s CI League after a Tomos ap Sion strike was enough to see off Elizabeth College at the College Field.

Although the result mathematically keeps Grammar’s title hopes alive, realistically they are out of the equation after a run of four straight defeats prior to this match.

But ap Sion’s tap-in from close range within the first five minutes gave them some joy and they did well to withstand a late College surge to pick up the three points.

It was a game in which both sides looked to play some decent passing football, but there were few chances created at either end early on, although that improved as the crisp afternoon wore on.
