TWO new signings have boosted a Guernsey Rugby Clubside still on a high from their win over Thurrock a fortnight ago.

After their first weekend break of the National Three London & South-East campaign, Jordan Reynolds’ men face Old Elthamians at Footes Lane tomorrow with backs Scott Davidson and Chris Wood both making their debuts.

New Zealander Davidson slots in at inside centre, where Guernsey will be missing Jason Batiste probably until the new year due to injury, while Englishman Wood will play on the wing.

‘This is probably the strongest team we have put out in a couple of years and that break helped a lot. It is not too far off [the team] who played against Thurrock, but it has just been bolstered a little by the new guys,’ Reynolds said.
