Vance expects a Cup cracker

WITH the treatment table clearing, Guernsey FC will hope their attacking firepower can blast them a step closer to Wembley this afternoon.

The Green Lions face a difficult trip to Erith Town in the FA Vase second round, but are boosted by the return of some key names.

Dave Rihoy and Matt Loaring have recovered from illness and injury respectively, while Jacques Isabelle is also included in the 14-man squad.

As two of the highest-ranked teams left in the last-128 draw prepare to meet, GFC coach Tony Vance, pictured, is happy with his squad.

‘Unfortunately illness means that Ollie [McKenzie] is out of this one, while I would have liked to have picked Joe Alvarez,’ he explained.
