GLYN SMITH hailed the battling qualities of his side after defender Dave Marrin salvaged the Priaulx League leaders a point with a 93rd-minute equaliser at the Track.
Two goals down after 38 minutes, Robbie Williams pulled one back just before the break and, having wasted a glorious chance to level with four minutes of normal time remaining, he watched colleague Martin slide in the leveller from close range deep into stoppage time.
Unsurprisingly, Smith was a happy man after the final whistle.
‘If you play well below par, as we did, and come away with a point you have got to be happy,’ he said.
‘I think it was a hell of a battle. We didn’t turn up for the first 30 minutes – we didn’t turn up at all.’

I don’t agree with RB’s harsh view of a tackle during this game. The ref didn’t see anything wrong with it and i know whose opinion I value more!

agreed team mate and that tostevin guy just keeps falling over. he knocks everyone about with his big frame but when it comes to anyone going near him he is on the floor. i saw bourgaize give him a little tap as well and for a big man it is amazing that a slight movement of air around him can send him to the floor. rugby players must cringe and laugh when they see big guys behave like this

Any danger of any of the other teams in the Priaulx or god forbid the Jackson league getting some coverage? All we see is Bels and North news even down to interviews with the coaches, do we care?!
