GUERNSEY Rugby Club’s back row has been decimated for today’s trip to Hertford.

Influential figures Tom Pool and Nick Barton, who both left the field injured five minutes into the second half of the 19-18 victory over Old Elthamians last week, will sit out this afternoon’s clash and join longer-term absentees James Regnard and Darrin Bellingham on the sidelines.

Tom Ceillam, who is carrying knocks that have limited his ability to train this week, is set to be the only regular loose forward to make the starting XV.

He is likely to be joined in the back row by Nick Merrien and Sam Stevens, as coach Jordan Reynolds fields the same pack who finished the OEs match.
