A NEW round-robin format for the second Deutsche Bank Junior Table Tennis Tournament of the 2012-13 season proved very popular.
The change from the usual knockout former one certainly kept everyone involved throughout the day and seemed to go down well with everyone.
The shorter matches also helped to concentrate minds and kept the players focussed.
In band one Lawrence Stacey took the title by winning all seven of his matches, dropping just a single game in the course of the day and that was to his twin brother Joshua.
