Ross rips ‘em apart at The Lane
Monday 10th December 2012, 2:00PM GMT.
A SCINTILLATING first-half attacking display saw Guernsey FC cruise through to the FA Vase fourth round yesterday after disposing of Erith & Belvedere at Footes Lane.
A hat-trick by Ross Allen (pictured) and Dave Rihoy’s strike gave GFC a 4-0 win and they enter the last 32 of the competition, which is now national and today’s draw will have no regional restrictions.
The Green Lions were three to the good by half-time and never looked in danger, something that pleased victorious coach Tony Vance.
‘The way we set ourselves up tactically went a long way to negating their [Erith’s] threat,’ he said.

Ross was class. The boy done treeeemendous and gave a 100 and 10 per cent. It really was a game of 2 halves and the manager was tactically sound on the day

is it physically possible to give 100 and 10 per cent? should not every player simply give 100 per cent?
