BELS kept up their unbeaten start to this Priaulx League season with a routine victory at the Track on Saturday.

Having needed a late equaliser to salvage a result against North last time out and after a lengthy weather-enforced break, the league leaders showed little sign of rustiness as they eased to success.

Goals from Simon Marley and Joby Bourgaize ultimately secured the three points, but it could – and should – have been many more against a Sylvans side who were forced to do much chasing.

In fairness, the visiting Westerners did not do too much wrong, but struggled to get the ball off a fine Bels team that also restricted their opponents to just a single shot on target all afternoon.

That tame effort from substitute Brad Le Sauvage was late on and with the game already well won by Bels, who started proceedings patiently, without ever looking rampant.
