FORGET about vintage performances, worry about grinding out wins.
That is the message from Guernsey FC coach Tony Vance, as he prepares his side for their first match in four weeks this afternoon, with a tough CCL Premier Division trip to Molesey.
Already trailing leaders Egham Town by 13 points, but with six games in hand, Vance knows the importance of three points at Walton Road today.
‘It has already got to a point where our games are now all must win,’ he said.
‘We are playing catch-up big time and we have to ensure we blow off the cobwebs quickly and start building some momentum again. In the past, we haven’t handled enforced breaks well, but that cannot happen again because we can’t afford to fall any further behind, we must stay in striking distance.
