THE Guernsey Ladies Rugby Club maintained their 100% winning record for the season on Saturday with a hard-fought 33-12 victory over Oxford University at Footes Lane.
A good-sized crowd saw both teams try to play a passing game in difficult, wet conditions and it was the home side’s Vicki Rang who scored the first try of the match.
Carly Parrott and Ann Wheeler both added two tries apiece to keep the hosts ahead, with Jemma Crouse adding four conversions.
The Women’s Siam holders did not have everything their own way as the dark blues replied with two tries of their own, but Guernsey were always in control and they took their record to the season to played three, won three.
