Guernsey FC tackle Egham on home soil towards the start of the season.

DESPITE an initial refusal, Guernsey FC supporters will have the chance to watch live tomorrow’s crunch CCL Premier Division clash at Egham Town.

The Green Lions’ trip to the league leaders had been one game that was expected not to be shown live on the club’s GFCTV channel, because of objections from Egham.

But ‘the Sarnies’ have changed their minds and allowed the clash, which could well change the momentum of the title race, to be broadcast at 3pm.

‘We are really pleased with this news because it allows our fans to watch what is the biggest league game of the season so far,’ said GFC chairman Steve Dewsnip.

‘It is great for those who can’t get to the game and there is also going to be live radio commentary from Radio Wey, a UK hospital radio station, so fans can sync that in with the pictures if they like,’ he added.
