THE return of two big names to his North squad has lifted William Woodford’s spirits ahead of an intriguing Priaulx League title battle.

Paul Page and Scott Bougourd will both again be on the bench for tonight’s big clash against Bels, the first of a vital midweek double-header on Grand Fort Road.

The reigning champions are third in the table on goal difference, trailing tonight’s opponents by 16 points, but with five games in hand, while second hosts fourth tomorrow as Vale Rec face St Martin’s.

All four sides are still very much in the title hunt, in what is shaping up to be the best conclusion to a season in recent years.
