CASTEL deputy Darren Duquemin is targeting a parish junior sporting double after he was assigned to head the district at this May’s fifth Specsavers Youth Games.

This week Castel won the CI Primary Schools football tournament in Jersey, a result which delighted the new deputy.

Now he wants more success for the parish he was born and raised and still lives in.

‘It was great news about the boys in Jersey and as an old Castel boy I was chuffed to hear it,’ said the deputy.

‘We will be looking to win again in May.’
