THE indoor cricket kings are in a rut.

Mourant Ozannes A slumped to a second consecutive defeat as KPMG Vipers A secured a much needed victory that blows open the race to be crowned Division One champions.

Hot on the heels of defeat to Insurance Corporation, the loss will be a bitter pill to swallow for Lee Savident’s men as they somehow lost a game they always seemed in control of.

Insurance Corporation beat Boatworks+ earlier in the evening and that win, coupled with the surprise KPMG Vipers A triumph, means they now lead the table ahead of Boatworks+ with Mourant Ozannes A third and KPMG Vipers A fourth.

Mourant Ozannes A batted first in a match they would have fancied a convincing win and they looked well set for this after making 139 from their 16 overs.
