THE game is almost up for Gremlin Galacticos after their latest attempt to beat La Villette Hotel Gremlins in the Image Group Premier snooker Division again ended in failure.

A draw was the best they could muster and Adam Shorto’s team still trail the defending champions by 12 points with five games to go.

The Galacticos needed a strong start, but were left wanting when Shorto and Adrian Lihou both dropped their opening frame.

Glenn Le Prevost, pictured, is having a good season and he took the first in a battle of the leading left handers with long thin cuts on pink and black.
