Graham hails the right move

GUERNSEY and Jersey are set to do battle in the latest Muratti Vase final ever, after the announcement the showpiece match will now be played on Saturday 18 May.
The GFA’s request for a fortnight delay has been granted and assuming Jersey beat Alderney in next month’s semi-final, the two islands will meet at the Track 13 days later than planned.
It will be the furthest into May the final has been played in its distinguished 108-year history, although a few replay dates have been later.
The news, allied with the announcement that the Upton will now be played at Springfield on 5 May instead of 20 April, means Guernsey coach Kevin Graham, pictured, is a happy man.
