SCOTT LEGG and Amy Stenner have been crowned the new Fund Corporation Guernsey Open squash champions.
The event held at Beau Sejour over the weekend attracted players from the UK to compete against players from across the island.
Legg took the men’s A title against his fellow Essex-based teammate James Kearney.
The champion made his way to the final by beating Guernsey’s Henry Birch 3-0.
Despite a hard-fought effort from Birch, he was unable to match the pace of Legg.
In the other semi-final, Kearney made his way to the final after director of island squash Martin Watts was forced to withdraw due to injury.
