GUERNSEY PANTHERS will look to get one over a former local player this weekend and with it make the most of their final inter-insular warm-up match.

The island representative ‘club’ side entertain the visiting Kent Netball Club second and third teams, who play in the North West Kent Netball League.

On this occasion, it is the Panthers B team who get the chance to play on the Beau Sejour indoor court in their match this evening, before the A team play at the Grammar School tomorrow morning.

In the visiting ranks will be Sonia Grant, pictured, the former Nerine and island attacker who moved back to the UK a few years ago.
