TONY VANCE has called on the Footes Lane crowd to be Guernsey FC’s ‘12th man’ tonight and a four-figure attendance is already guaranteed.

More than 1,000 Green Lions supporters have bought tickets for the blockbuster floodlit FA Vase quarter-final replay against Walsall Wood.

‘You can say with some certainty that this is one of the biggest games in the history of Guernsey football and has the potential to be a very special occasion,’ said coach Vance.

‘I know we keep talking on about the Guildford cup semi-final from last year, but it is with good reason because it was an incredible night.

‘Our fans played a massive part in driving the players on to turn that game around on the night and I am urging the fans to be just as vocal this time.’
