PAUL GUILLOU has won a thrilling Island Individual 10-metre title.
Shot for the North United Trophy but staged at the Cobo United range, the final is a 60-shoot with the top four going head-to-head in an Olympic final of a further 10 shots.
After the initial qualifying round the six making the A final were North’s Lee Roussel and Chris Workman, and the Cobo quartet of Andrea Guillou, Paul Guillou, pictured, Martyn Cohu and Jamie Le Page.
With the lead changing hands three times in the initial 60 shots, Roussel came out top with 562 x 600, followed by Guillou with 559, Le Page in third place with 555 followed by Workman with 553.
Those four made the Olympic final in which on the first shot Roussel increased his lead by a point, scoring a 10 to Guilliou’s nine.

Voice For Victims
Voice for Victims is a campaign aimed at promoting the rights of those affected by child sexual abuse.

Surely this competition is not shot with BSA “Long Toms” which went out of use in the 1950s ? If not why a picture of Mr. Guillou holding one???
