TONY VANCE has urged his players to be ‘brave’ and ‘seize the moment’ this afternoon – as he ponders his biggest selection call for the visit of Spennymoor Town.

The north-east giants are at Footes Lane for the FA Vase semi-final first-leg clash that Vance describes as ‘the biggest game of football ever played locally’.

And he will be in buoyant mood after announcing that Alex Le Prevost has recovered from injury to rejoin the squad, as well as key trio Dave Rihoy, Chris Tardif and Matt Loaring who all missed the midweek win at Epsom & Ewell.

Simon Geall is still sidelined, though, meaning Jacques Isabelle and Jamie Dodd look certain to fill the full-back positions, but there is a big question mark at the heart of Vance’s defence.
