CONSOLIDATION will be the priority for Guernsey’s top cricketers as they look forward to another Far Eastern adventure in February in Division Five of the Pepsi World Cricket League.

Singapore will be the venue in four months’ time for Stuart Le Prevost and his team as they bask in the glory of promotion from Division Six over in Malaysia last week, when they won the tournament after a stunning final win over the hosts.

And although the Sarnians had a 100% record over the week, Le Prevost is not getting carried away with Guernsey due to face the Cayman Islands, Argentina, Bahrain, and Malaysia, again, in the new year.

‘The boys have done a great job in the past fortnight and they have earned a couple of months’ break to recharge the batteries,’ he said.
