James fifth in France

JAMES MCLAUGHLIN (pictured) produced a fantastic fifth place finish in the Ronde Finisterienne Road Race.
The pace of the event was fast from the start with constant attacks and attempts for small groups to get off the front.
The Guernsey star worked hard to get into the relevant moves but started to tire at lap 10 of 30, each one covering 3.6 km on a sporting course.
At this point McLaughlin took a breather at the back of the peloton for five laps.
