BEN CREASEY will pull on a Britisk kit after qualifying for the 2012 ETU European Triathlon Championships in Eilat, Israel.

He will compete in the 20-24 years age groups at the event next April.

Creasey had to qualify for the GB team by racing in one of their pre-selected races, his being the Bala Standard distance Triathlon in Wales.

‘It was a very windy and wet race, with very choppy conditions in the swim where I really struggled to settle into a rhythm.’
