GUERNSEY FC directors face two vital meetings in the space of a few hours in London next Monday, the outcome of which will decide the fate of the project.
But Mark Le Tissier, the outgoing Guernsey Football Association chairman and GFC director, remains as confident as he can be that all will be well when he and Steve Dewsnip sit down with FA officials and then representatives of the Combined Counties League clubs which, potentially, will be GFC’s initial opposition on the UK league pyramid.
Boosted by the positive responses from the finance community at last week’s private presentation at the OGH Hotel, Le Tissier and Dewsnip, the two driving forces of GFC, were in the UK on Monday to meet the management committee of the Combined Counties League.
The meeting went well, Le Tissier reported.
