IIGNORE the league table, because it does not always paint a true picture.
Those were the sentiments of Green Lions coach Tony Vance yesterday ahead of the home game against Farleigh Rovers tomorrow.
Farleigh may lie plumb bottom in the 18-team Combined Counties League Division One, but their form is actually quite good.
This past four weeks they have managed to beat Sheerwater 3-2 in the cup last weekend and, before that, lose just 2-1 to Staines Lammas, draw 2-2 with Westfield, another top-eight side, and smash Frimley Green 5-1.
‘We’re fully focused,’ Tony Vance assured the growing number of GFC fans yesterday.
