OLLIE MCKENZIE is the latest big name to return to the Guernsey FC ranks as they enter the most testing 11 days of their debut season so far.
The table-topping Green Lions travel to in-form Staines Lammas tomorrow evening, before being in the UK again at the weekend for a blockbuster top-of-the-table clash at second-placed Bedfont Sports.
Beyond that, a home Premier Challenge Cup match against Ash United looms, the Lions’ first competitive taste of higher-league opposition.
Coach Tony Vance knows the importance of this mini-period, but is taking it 90 minutes at a time, beginning with tomorrow’s match at Laleham Recreation Ground.
