ANOTHER decisive chapter in Guernsey FC’s debut season will be written tomorrow afternoon as the Green Lions face a blockbuster top-of-the-table clash.

Now 11 points clear at the top of the table, Tony Vance’s side travel to second-placed Bedfont Sports, who have four games in hand on the Lions.

It comes less than 72 hours after GFC produced arguably their finest performance yet to crush Staines Lammas 3-1 and take firm control of both the promotion and title races.

But Vance is not getting carried away, as his side are still to reach the midpoint of the season, albeit having already played 10 away games.
