BEDFONT SPORTS have been drawing inspiration from legendary fictional boxer Rocky Balboa as they prepare for this afternoon’s blockbuster clash with Guernsey FC.

The two sides currently head the Combined Counties League Division One table, the Green Lions 11 points clear of second-placed Bedfont, but with the undefeated UK side having four games in hand ahead of the clash.

And on their club website, they have promoted the game with a video clip from ‘Rocky Balboa’, the final instalment of the famous Sylvester Stallone movie series.

The match is described on the club’s site as ‘The Big One’, the video clip is titled with the phrase ‘IT’S TIME’ and it includes iconic lines from Stallone’s Rocky.
