GUERNSEY FC strengthened their grip on top of Combined Counties League Division One with a decisive victory over Bedfont Sports yesterday.

Until yesterday, Bedfont had been unbeaten this season and had an 18-month run without losing at home.

Dom Heaume (pictured) established a lead after only three minutes, and added a second just before half time after a one-sided first half.

After Bedfont lost a man following a wild lunge on Kieran Mahon, Ross Allen slotted away a third for the Lions from the penalty spot. Mahon himself saw the red card later in the second half.

Bedfont managed to pull one back before the final whistle.
