GUERNSEY FC took control of the Combined Counties League Division One title race after a superb 3-1 win at second-placed Bedfont Sports.

The Green Lions dominated the encounter, which finished 10-a-side after a sending off apiece, with Kieran Mahon the man harshly dismissed for the visitors.

A brace for Dom Heaume set the Lions on their way in a fiery and tempestuous encounter, before a penalty took Ross Allen to 28 goals for the season.

Jack Watts pulled one back for the hosts, but it was not enough to threaten the Lions.
