GUERNSEY face their biggest challenge of the season tomorrow as the league leaders visit Footes Lane.

However, the task does not seem as huge as it did a week ago, with Chichester having just suffered their first defeat of the season.

Third-placed Old Elthamians were the side to end the blues’ perfect record with a hard-fought 13-8 away win and Guernsey coach Jordan Reynolds looks on that as a positive result as far as his side is concerned.

‘It is the perfect time to strike on them because it shows it can be done,’ said Reynolds, although he added a word of caution. ‘The defeat might put some doubt in their minds and they might be vulnerable, but with any good side who gets beaten, you expect them to bounce back.’
