Teenager gets to train with the Boks
Wednesday 25th September 2013, 10:11AM BST.
THIS Monday was a day that will stick in the memory of Elizabeth College student Dan de Kock for the rest of his life.
He got to train with the Sprinboks.
De Kock is in seventh heaven after being invited to train with the South African national team in Cape Town ahead of their Four Nations Rugby Championship match against Australia.
The 18-year-old, who only joined the prestigious South African Western Province Rugby Academy three months ago, and seven of his team mates were asked to help with the Boks in their preparation.
Guernsey agent Johan Gouws said it was a big day for the Sarnian-based youngster.
‘With his motivation, hard work and talent, Dan has a great rugby future ahead of him.’
