MILES MUNRO has gained selection onto the ASA England Regional Talent Development Programme 2011-12.

He will be part of a national programme involving elite swimmers from the southern region who will be invited to attend a number of training camps throughout the year.

The first will take place on 16 September at Crystal Palace, just two days after his return from the Commonwealth Youth Games.

‘The training camps will be predominately skill-based and are considered to be a stepping-stone for youngsters to move forward with their swimming careers and hopefully onto podium success,’ said his Beau Sejour Barracudas coach Alison Frankland.
