GUERNSEY’S Commonwealth Youth Games athletes have done their island and coaches proud, team leader Angela Stuart said yesterday.
Stuart watched each competitor at some point during the Games and lauded the whole team for their efforts in the Isle of Man.
Most performers finished in the top 20 in their event and nearly half finished in the top ten.
‘It was a fantastic performance,’ Stuart said. ‘The whole of the management team are really pleased with the performance of every competitor.’
